Jaydeep Khadi Store

Jaydeep Khadi Store is over at Shop No. 12 in the Jagruti Apartment on B. P. Road in Bhayander East. We also have a connection to Jay Bhart Mata Nagar in Sion East, so we are a bit spread out. The shop in Bhayander is where you will mostly find us. It is a small space filled with the smell of cotton and khadi. We have shelves lined with different fabrics. Jagruti Apartment is a regular residential building, so having a shop on the ground floor means we see the neighbors coming and going all day. B. P. Road is always busy with people doing their daily shopping. Inside the store, it is a bit quieter. We spend time folding the cloth and arranging the displays. Khadi is one of those things that people come looking for specifically. It isn't like a big mall where people just wander in. Our customers usually know what they want. We talk to them about the different weights of the fabric or the colors we have in stock. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded if more than three people are inside at once. It is a humble place. We don't have bright neon signs or anything flashy. It is just Shop No. 12. We have been around for a while, and the locals know where to find us when they need good khadi. It’s a simple life running a store like this.
