We spend a lot of our time here at Powai Plaza. It is a busy spot in Hiranandani Gardens and our unit is in the B wing, number 238. It’s a decent enough space for what we do. People come in and out of the building all day long. Sometimes the lift takes forever, so we just walk up the stairs if we are in a hurry. Being in Andheri East means there is always a lot of traffic, but that is just how it is around here. We deal with all sorts of clothing items. Mostly, we are just focused on getting the orders right and making sure the stitching is okay. The windows look out onto the street, and you can see people heading to lunch or catching rickshaws. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running for hours. We keep a few fans going to stay comfortable. There isn't much to say about our history except that we have been here a while now. Most of the guys working here live nearby, so we have a good routine going. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything like that. We just show up, check what needs to be done, and get to it. Sometimes we have tea together in the late afternoon when the light starts to fade. It is just a normal place where we work on garments every day. We know the other shop owners in the plaza, and we all just try to get through the work week.
