Zaffran

Zaffran is tucked away in Malad West, specifically over on 29th A Main. If you are familiar with Sector One, we are located right near 10th Cross at number 2. It can be a bit of a maze back here sometimes, but we really like the location. We started this place because we wanted to have something local in the neighborhood. It is mostly just us working in the kitchen and handling the front. The floors aren't always perfectly shiny and the menu is just what we know how to cook well. We don't spend any money on fancy decorations or big bright signs. People usually find us by word of mouth or if they happen to live right on 10th Cross. It gets pretty hot in the kitchen during the lunch rush, but we manage to get through it. We have seen a lot of changes in Malad West over the years, but we have stayed right here in this spot. Sometimes the deliveries show up late and we have to scramble to get ready, but that is just how it goes. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just food and a place to sit down for a little while. Most of our chairs don't really match each other, but they are comfortable enough for a meal. We are usually here from early morning until the evening hours.
