Down at Shop number 3 in Mukti Nagar, you’ll find us at Yaya Computers. We’re right on W.T. Patil Marg in Chembur. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of stuff into it over the years. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people walking by on their way to work or the market. It gets a bit dusty because of the traffic on the main road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the monitors. It’s just the way it is in Chembur. We’ve got shelves full of parts and boxes stacked up in the back. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning that works all the time, but it’s where we do our thing. We handle all sorts of computer issues for the folks around Mukti Nagar. Most of the time, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything. People usually hear about us from their neighbors or just see the sign when they’re stuck in traffic on Patil Marg. We’ve had the same old chairs for years and the fan makes a bit of noise, but it works. We’re just a regular shop doing regular work. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps the lights on and we get to talk to people every day.
