Shudh Non-Veg is based out of Worli. It’s a funny name for a place, we know, but it stuck. We’ve been operating in this part of the city for a while now. Worli is a central spot, so we get people from all over. Our kitchen isn't huge, but it's always busy, especially around lunchtime and late in the evening. We focus on meat dishes. There’s always a smell of spices and roasting meat in the air around our place. We don't have fancy white tablecloths or a big waitstaff. It's more of a practical setup where the focus is on the food itself. We source our stuff locally every morning to make sure it's fresh for the day's orders. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if the crowd is big, which is annoying but happens. The staff is just a handful of us who have been working together for a long time. We know the regulars by their orders. The streets here can get really jammed with traffic, but we’ve managed to stay put. It’s a loud, lively area. We spend most of our time prepping ingredients or cleaning up after a rush. There's no big corporate office behind us, just a local kitchen trying to get the flavors right. We aren't trying to be the next big chain, we just like cooking what we know and serving it to people who live and work in the neighborhood.
