Wood Art Mumbai

We are located right on the Western Express Highway, in the Sai Karishma Building. If you are standing opposite Oberai Mall in Goregaon East, you can see our sign. We have Shop No. 3 and 4, and it’s always smells like fresh polish and cut timber in here. We aren't a big factory; we are more of a small group of guys who like working with our hands. We do a lot of custom furniture and decorative pieces. It’s not the kind of stuff you find in a big box store. Each piece we make is a bit different because wood itself isn't perfect. We have piles of teak and rosewood stacked up in the back. Sometimes the highway traffic is so loud we have to shout over it, but we’re used to it now. People come in with photos from magazines and ask if we can make something similar. We tell them what's possible and what's not. It’s a lot of sanding and staining, and our hands are usually stained dark by the end of the week. We don't have a fancy sales team. You just talk to the person who is actually going to be cutting the wood. It’s more direct that way. We’ve been in Goregaon for a while and have seen the area change so much, but we just keep doing what we do best with our chisels and saws.
