If you know the Sahara Hotel in Goregaon East, we are located right near there inside the Bharat Compound. Shop number 8 is where we keep all the furniture and tools. It is a bit of a crowded area with the industrial estate right across from us, but it is a good spot for a workshop. We deal with all kinds of wood and metal pieces. Sometimes the whole shop smells like sawdust and varnish for days at a time. We are not one of those big showrooms with air conditioning and soft music playing. It is a real workshop where things actually get built and moved around. We have got chairs, tables, and cabinets crammed into the space. Most of our customers are locals who want something sturdy that will not fall apart in a year. We take custom orders and sometimes we have things ready to go. Delivery can be a bit tricky with the heavy traffic around Goregaon, but we always find a way to get it done. We have been in this compound for quite a while now. People know they can just walk in and see what we are working on at the moment. It is not always pretty, and there is usually a bit of a mess on the floor, but that is just how furniture making goes. We do not do much advertising; word of mouth from neighbors usually brings people in to see us.
