White Pepper

Borivali East is our home, and you can find us at number 27. White Pepper isn't a place with a lot of fancy decorations or a complicated menu. We kept things simple because that’s what we know how to do best. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure everything is in its place. It’s a lot of work that people don’t see, like scrubbing the floors and checking the pantry. When the doors open, we just take things as they come. Some days are slow and we spend a lot of time talking to each other, and other days we don’t even have time to sit down for a minute. We don't use any professional writers to tell our story because there isn't much of a story to tell. We just wanted to have a shop in Borivali where we could cook and serve the neighborhood. The street outside can get pretty loud with all the traffic, but inside we just focus on the orders we have. We’ve had some regulars since the day we opened, and it’s nice to see the same faces every week. We aren't perfect, and sometimes we make mistakes with an order or forget a side dish, but we always try to fix it right away for you. It’s a small, honest business, and we’re just glad to be a part of the community here at 27.
