White Pepper has been around Borivali East 27 for a while now. We just show up every morning and get things ready before the lunch rush hits. Most people around here know where we are. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular spot where you can grab a meal without making a fuss. My cousin and I started this because we liked cooking and there wasn't much else we wanted to do. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen chopping vegetables and making sure the stove is working right. Sometimes the delivery guys are late or we run out of something, but that’s just how it goes in a small business. We don’t have a big team or anything. It’s just us and a couple of helpers. People come in, they eat, and they leave. Some talk for a bit, others are in a hurry. We try to keep the tables clean, though it gets messy when it's busy. The menu is pretty straightforward. We don't change it much because people like what they know. It’s a lot of work staying open late and getting back early the next day. Sometimes the rain makes it hard for customers to come to this part of Borivali East, but we stay open anyway. We don’t do much advertising. Mostly it’s just folks walking by or neighbors telling each other about us. It's a simple life running a food place here.
