V.M.S. Exports (P) Ltd.

You can find us over at 616 in the Cotton Exchange Building. It’s right at the Zaveri Bazar Corner, which is always crowded. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how it is. People everywhere, gold shops, and tons of noise. Our office is up there, and we’ve been using this space for quite some time. The building itself is old and has that specific smell of old stone and paper. We have some desks, a few cabinets for files, and not much else. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans to keep the air moving. Dealing with the traffic around Zaveri Bazar is a daily struggle, especially if you’re trying to move goods or even just get to work on time. We mostly just focus on what’s in front of us. The name V.M.S. Exports is on the door. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, and we talk. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We stay here until the work is finished, usually late in the evening when the bazaar starts to quiet down a little bit. It’s just how things work here. We might not have the newest furniture, but the desks are sturdy and they hold all the files we need.
