If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this part of town gets with all the media folks and the constant traffic. Our office is a place where we sit and get through the day’s work. It’s got computers, some hard drives lying around on the desks, and plenty of wires tucked behind the furniture. The light coming in through the windows is actually quite nice in the morning before the sun gets too high and makes everything hot. Versova has a very specific vibe, and being in Lokhandwala means there is always some kind of noise or activity happening right outside the door. We usually start the day with some tea or coffee and a quick look at what needs to be finished. It’s not a fancy corporate office with a big front desk; it’s more of a workspace where everyone just sits down and gets on with it. Sometimes we stay quite late when things need to get done, and you can hear the street noise slowly fading away as it gets into the middle of the night. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and have gotten used to the quirks of the building, like the slow elevator. Sometimes we just take the stairs to save time. It’s just a normal private limited company trying to do its thing in a very crowded city.
