Vikranta Films International

Vikranta Films International operates out of Flat Number 13/14 in the Gulmohar Garden building in Andheri West. This isn't a typical office with a sign on the door and a lobby. It’s a residential flat that we have turned into our workspace for film projects. Andheri West is full of people in the film line, so we are right in the middle of everything. Inside the flat, there are computers for editing and lots of papers scattered on the tables. It is a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time sitting in front of monitors and talking about stories. Sometimes we are here very late at night when a deadline is coming up. The building, Gulmohar Garden, is a nice enough place, though the elevator is a bit slow sometimes. We don't have any fancy movie posters on the walls or awards on display. It’s just a practical space where the work happens. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. Our neighbors are mostly families, so we try to be quiet when we leave late at night. It is a humble setup for a film company, but it works for us. We focus on the screen and the scripts rather than the office decor. Being in Andheri makes it easy to meet people, but we usually prefer just staying in the flat and getting the work done.
