Dassa Movies

We are located in Khar West on Gowdown Street. It’s a bit of a tucked away spot in the Ritar area. If you’ve been around here, you know it’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of movement. Dassa Movies has been around for some time now. We aren't one of those big fancy studios you see on the news. We are more of a local operation. We spend a lot of our time in the back room working on projects. The street outside can get pretty loud with all the deliveries and people moving about, but we don't mind it much. It’s just the atmosphere of Khar. Our space is basically a converted warehouse area. It’s got high ceilings and lots of storage for all our gear. We’ve collected a lot of stuff over the years. Some of it is old, some of it still works great. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with coffee. Usually, you just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. We do this because we like the process of it. It’s hard work and the hours are often long and weird. Sometimes we stay late into the night when we are trying to finish something up. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people who come to us were told about us by someone else. That’s usually the best way anyway. We just keep our heads down and keep working.
