Our production office is located at 304 Dattatray Lodge on Station Road in Goregaon East. If you know Mumbai, you know how incredibly busy Station Road can be at any time of the day. There are always people rushing to catch trains and vendors calling out, so it’s never quiet here. Our space is on the third floor, and it’s filled with files, scripts, and old equipment from various projects. It’s not a polished studio like you might see on TV, but it’s where all the real work happens. We spend a lot of hours here planning out shoots, making phone calls, and trying to keep everything on schedule. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so much stuff saved up from over the years. We have a small window that looks out over the street, though the view is mostly just the tops of buses and a lot of wires. In the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the roof is so loud we can barely hear each other speak. We usually have a pot of tea going to keep us moving through the long afternoons. It’s a gritty, honest place to work. We don't worry much about how the office looks as long as the work is getting done. Being in Goregaon East Mumbai 400062 keeps us close to the heart of things, even if the traffic is a nightmare. It is just life here.
