Eric Apparel Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Eric House, which is right on LBS Marg in Vikhroli West. It’s a big, busy road with lots of traffic all the time. Our building isn't new, but it serves our purposes well enough for the apparel business. We have floors dedicated to different parts of the work, from design to packing. It’s usually quite a buzz of activity inside with people moving around and sewing machines humming. We’ve been in Vikhroli for quite some time now. The staff here mostly takes the train or bus since the station isn't too far away. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with fancy lobbies; we just have a workspace that functions for the daily grind. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the commute a real mess, but we still show up and get the work done. The daily routine is pretty set—start early, handle the orders, and make sure everything is boxed up correctly. We deal with a lot of different fabrics and styles. It’s a lot of physical work and standing around the large tables. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office decor or anything like that. We just want to make sure the clothes are made right and sent out on time. That’s how we’ve always done it here at Eric House. It’s just us doing our job every day of the week.
