Vikas General Stores

Vikas General Stores is tucked into Shop No 5 of the Kusum Kala Building. If you’re in Borivali West, we’re easy to spot because we’re right across from the big Vijay Sales. It’s a busy area, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. Our store is pretty packed with all sorts of things people need for their homes. We try to keep the shelves stocked, but sometimes it gets a bit messy when we’re busy. It’s a local shop, so we see the same faces all the time. We don’t have a website or any of that fancy stuff. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to come in. Most of the time, we’re just chatting with neighbors or helping someone find a specific brand of soap or snacks. The building itself is an older one, but it’s sturdy. We like being here because everything is close by. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. It’s not a supermarket, just a regular general store where you can get what you need without a fuss. We don’t do big sales or promotions. People come to us because we’re here and we’ve got what they want. It’s been that way for years now, and we don’t see it changing much. We just keep things simple and try to be helpful to anyone who walks in the door and needs some supplies.
