Vijay Refrigeration

Vijay Refrigeration is over in the Bharat Industrial Estate in Bhandup West. We are at unit number 14. This part of L.B.S. Marg is always packed with vehicles and people going to work. Our shop is right in the middle of it. We spend most of our time working on cooling units and refrigeration parts. It’s a dusty place because of the industrial activities around us, but we don't mind. The shop is filled with tools, spare parts, and half-finished projects. We aren't a big corporation. It’s just a few of us who have learned the trade over the years. We don't have a website that looks like a movie or anything. We just have our name on the board and a phone that works. People in the area know us, and we know them. Sometimes we have to go out to fix a big unit at a factory, and other times we are just here at the bench working on smaller motors. We like the work because it is practical. You can see when you’ve fixed something. We drink our chai, talk about the news, and keep the work moving. Bhandup is a tough place to commute to, but it’s a great place to run a business because there is always something needing repair. It is just about getting the cooling back for the customers.
