The Exodus Agency

You can find The Exodus Agency at 904, Udyan 2, which is just off Marol Military Road in Andheri East. Being in Andheri means it’s always busy outside, especially with the traffic on the main road. Our office is up on the ninth floor, so it stays a bit quieter once you’re inside. We have some computers, a few chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of notebooks lying around. We aren't one of those big agencies with glass walls and coffee machines. We mostly just sit at our desks and work through whatever projects are on the table. Sometimes the elevators in the building take a long time, so we’ve learned to be patient. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves. It’s been a learning process, honestly. Some weeks are hectic and we’re here until late, while other times it’s pretty calm. We don’t have a dress code or anything formal. It’s just us trying to figure out the best way to help the people who come to us. We’ve got a small balcony area where we can see the city, which is nice when you need a break from the screen. The rain in Mumbai can be a problem during monsoon, sometimes water seeps in through the window frame, but we just put a towel down and keep going. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we don't ask for much else.
