We’re located inside Leela Business Park on Andheri Marol Road, which is part of the larger Tata Chemicals setup. It’s right in Andheri East, so it’s always packed with traffic and people. Our focus here is on nutritional ingredients, the kind of stuff that goes into food to make it a bit better for you. We have a lot of scientists and technical people walking around in lab coats, which gives the place a specific kind of feel. It’s not your typical office where everyone is just typing; there’s a lot of testing and measuring going on. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed, though, because the work itself is quite precise. We don't use a lot of big words when we’re talking to each other in the breakroom. We’re just trying to figure out the best way to make these ingredients work in everyday foods. The building is decent, and we have everything we need to get the job done. Sometimes the bureaucracy of a big company can be a bit much, but we just focus on our little corner of the business. We take pride in the details of the chemistry and the production process. It’s mostly about staying focused on the science and making sure the quality is consistent. We just take it day by day and try to solve the problems that come up.
