Plastipack

You can find Plastipack at 53-C in Mittal Court. Being in Nariman Point means we are right in the thick of things in Mumbai. The building is one of those classic ones that has seen a lot of history, and the lobby is always full of people rushing to the elevators. Our office isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do every day. We have a window that looks out towards other buildings, and if you squint, you can almost imagine the sea breeze coming off the water. The air conditioning is always running because the Mumbai humidity is no joke, especially when you are on a higher floor in a packed building. We have desks crammed together and a lot of samples of plastic products scattered around on every surface. It’s a bit of a chaotic look, but it’s how we work best together. We don't really do the whole formal "corporate culture" thing. Most of us have been working together for years and we talk more like family than coworkers. Lunch usually involves everyone sharing their dabbas and complaining about the traffic on the way in or the trains being late. It’s a busy life, and the phone doesn't stop ringing most afternoons. By the time five o'clock rolls around, we are usually ready to head out and join the crowd at the station. The old lift operator knows us all and usually waits a second if he sees us running.
