Vijay Export Corpation

Our office is at 203 in the Steel Center building down at Carnac Bunder. Vijay Export Corpation has been operating from this spot for quite a while now. If you know the area, you know it's a hub for all sorts of trade. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating things from here. We aren't doing anything flashy. Just getting things from one place to another. Carnac Bunder is always moving, trucks coming and going, lots of heavy lifting outside. Inside the Steel Center, it’s a bit quieter, but the work doesn't stop. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking lists. It’s a small office, mostly just desks and files piled up. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We don't really have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just do the exporting work as it comes in. Most of our clients are people we’ve known for a decade. It’s more about the relationships than anything else. We try to be careful with the details because that's where things usually go wrong in this business. It isn't a glamorous job. It’s just how we make a living. We stay focused on the logistics and hope the shipments get through without any headaches at the docks. We like the routine of it, honestly. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
