Scorpio Apparels

Our workshop is inside the Ansa Industrial Estate, specifically K-119. If you know Saki Naka, you know how the traffic is on Saki Vihar Road. It takes forever to get anywhere, so once we’re here, we stay here for the day. Scorpio Apparels is just a regular garment unit in Andheri East. We have rows of machines and a few cutting tables. The air is always full of lint and the sound of needles clicking. It isn't a glamorous place, but it works for us. We spend our days looking at patterns and making sure the stitching is straight. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just call the landline or walk through the door. The industrial estate is always humming with other businesses, so there's a lot of energy around. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. Some days we stay late to finish a big batch of shirts or pants. We don't really think about being the best, we just try not to mess up the orders. The floor is usually covered in thread scraps by the end of the day. We sweep it up and start over the next morning. It’s honest work. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we know all the delivery drivers who come through the gate. There is no corporate ladder here, just people doing their jobs. We like the honesty of making things with our hands.
