You can find our office at No. 231 in Dadar West, but we also spend a lot of time over at S. B. Lane in Colaba Market. Being in Mumbai means we are always dealing with crowds and narrow lanes. Our space in Dadar is where we handle the business side of things. It’s a small office, nothing too fancy, just some desks and shelves full of samples. Colaba Market is where the real action is, though. It’s noisy and smells like the sea and street food. We go back and forth between the two locations quite a bit. Fashion moves fast here, and we try to keep up with the daily grind. The office at No. 231 is usually quiet, which is a nice break from the market. We have piles of sketches and fabric swatches lying around. The walls are covered in notes about different orders. We don't have a big team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. From carrying bags to doing the accounts, it’s all part of the day. Some days the trains are delayed and everything gets pushed back. That's just how life is in the city. We don't put on any acts. It's a tough business and we just work hard to stay afloat. We've been in these areas long enough to know the shortcuts.
