V.B. Industries

We are located inside the Gogatewadi Atul Engineering Compound. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but we are off Aarey Road in the Aarey Milk Colony area of Goregaon East. It’s a bit greener around here than the rest of Mumbai because of all the trees in the colony. We are near Churiwadi, in a compound that houses a few different engineering firms. Our unit at V.B. Industries is a busy place. There is always the sound of machinery and the clinking of metal parts. It’s not a silent office; it’s a factory floor where things get made. We have high ceilings and big doors to move materials in and out. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains here and there, which is expected in our line of work. We don't have a fancy waiting room for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by, they just meet us right where we are working. We wear practical clothes and don't worry too much about looking polished. The focus is on the machines and getting the orders out on time. During the rainy season, the walk from the main road can be a bit muddy, but we don't mind it much. It’s a good place to work because it feels a bit tucked away from the main city rush, even though we are still in Goregaon. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs. Most of us eat lunch together in the corner.
