Carysil Display Gallery

Plot No.B-15 in Laxmi Industrial Estate is where we spend most of our time. It is a busy spot on New Link Road in Andheri West. The gallery is filled with different sinks and kitchen things that Carysil makes. Most days are spent cleaning the dust off the displays because the road outside is always under some kind of work. People come in from the hot sun and walk around looking at the black and white basins. We don’t have a big sales team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The industrial estate has a lot of noise, mostly trucks moving stuff or people shouting near the gates. We keep the lights on even when it is quiet so people can see the granite finishes from the window. Sometimes it is very busy and other times we just sit and wait for the phone to ring. We have a small table in the back where we drink tea and talk about the day. It isn't a fancy office, just a place to show the products. We have been here for a while now and the neighbors know us. The morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and ends with making sure the glass is wiped down. It is just a regular display gallery where you can see things before you buy them for your house.
