Vashishtha Luxury Fashion Private Limited

We have a few units over at Sun Industrial Estate in the Sun Mill Compound. It’s units 307, 308, and 309. Lower Parel West is a pretty hectic place to be, but the estate itself is where the real work happens for Vashishtha Luxury Fashion Private Limited. Despite the name, our day-to-day is anything but glamorous. It’s a lot of lifting, packing, and checking seams. The compound is always full of trucks and people moving things, so you have to be careful walking around. We’ve knocked together a few rooms to make enough space for all the garments we handle. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going to stay cool. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s an industrial space meant for working. We spend most of our time making sure the orders are correct before they go out. There’s a lot of paperwork because of the different styles we manage. The lift in the building sometimes has a mind of its own, so we end up using the stairs quite a bit. It keeps us moving, I guess. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for long enough that we know all the tea stalls nearby. That’s where we usually take our breaks when the sun gets too high. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. We just try to get the work done right without making any fuss.
