Vasant Laxmi Fashions Llp is located at D 410 in the Twin Arcade building on Military Road. Marol is a really crowded part of Andheri, so there is always noise from the traffic and people shouting outside. Our unit isn't huge, but we have managed to fit everything we need into the space. We do a lot of our work on the long tables we have set up. The Twin Arcade is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but we like being here because it’s close to a lot of our suppliers. Sometimes the elevator is broken, which makes carrying heavy bundles of cloth up to the fourth floor a real workout. We don't spend much money on fancy furniture or making the place look like a showroom. It’s more of a workshop where we focus on the actual production. The lighting is bright enough to see the small details on the garments, which is the main thing that matters. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It helps the time pass when we have a lot of repetitive tasks to finish. On rainy days, the windows in Marol get all steamed up, and it feels quite cozy inside despite the rush. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a good job every day. We often stay late during the festival seasons to finish the extra work we have.
