V. M. Fashions

V. M. Fashions is located in the Raj Industrial Complex. We are at A-58 on the first floor. The complex is on Military Road in Marol, Andheri East. It’s a typical industrial area with lots of small units like ours. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. The stairs are a bit narrow, so moving big boxes can be a pain. Inside, we have our machines and workstations set up. It’s usually quite loud when everyone is working. We make different kinds of garments. Most of our days are spent checking patterns or making sure the stitching is okay. We aren't a big company with a lot of departments. Everyone does a bit of everything. If someone is out, someone else steps in. Military Road gets very crowded during peak hours. We try to get our shipping done early to avoid the worst of it. The air in Marol is always full of the smell of work and street food. We usually get our lunch from the local places nearby. Our office isn't decorated with anything special. We have calendars on the wall and stacks of fabric in the corners. It’s a functional space for people who know the trade. We focus on getting the orders out to our customers. It’s hard work, but we are used to the rhythm of the industrial estate. We close up around seven most nights.
