We operate out of Mittal Tower in Nariman Point. It’s a big building and we are way up on the 10th floor in the A wing. Office 103 is where you will find us. Nariman Point is quite a famous spot in Mumbai, so it’s busy all the time. From our windows, you can see a bit of the city moving below, which is nice during a long day. We handle export stuff, so there is always a lot of coordination involved. Our desks are usually covered in files and the phones ring more than we’d like. It’s not a glamorous job, just steady work that needs to be done right. We have a small group of people working here. We’ve known each other for years, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed despite the deadlines. We don’t go for fancy office perks. We have a kettle for tea and some chairs that have seen better days. It is a functional space. Sometimes we have to stay late to deal with time zones, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't try to sound like a big corporate giant. We are just a local company doing our bit from a high-rise office. It keeps us busy and pays the bills. We handle the paperwork and the logistics as they come, day after day. It is just how things are for us.
