V. H. International

V. H. International is located over in the Kopergaon Estate, tucked away in Lovelane, Mazgaon. It is an old industrial area and the building shows its age. We have been here for years, and the space is mostly filled with boxes and shipping crates. The office is just a small corner with some basic furniture and a computer that is a bit slow. We spend a lot of time on the phone dealing with logistics and checking on where the shipments are. Mazgaon has a certain smell of the sea and old warehouses, which is something you just live with. The trucks come and go at odd hours, so there is always someone around. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a mess of paperwork. It is a practical environment where the focus is on moving goods rather than looking professional. My desk is covered in coffee stains and old notes. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy warehouse estate, things get dusty fast. The rain hits the metal roof hard during the monsoon, making it hard to hear anything. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a glamorous business, but it is what we know. We have a small team of guys who have been here forever.
