We’ve got our office for Urbangrocer.In over at Marsman Tower on the second floor. It’s in the N-16 area right opposite Namco Bank. Manifold Retail is the name on the door if you’re looking for us. We spend most of our time coordinating deliveries and making sure the inventory is right. Being on the second floor means we’re away from the noise of the street, which helps when we’re trying to get the orders sorted. It’s not a walk-in shop where you pick stuff off a shelf. It’s more of a hub for our operations. We started this because we saw how much people needed groceries delivered without a hassle. We handle a lot of different products every day. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, which makes moving stock a bit of a pain, but we get it done anyway. It’s a small team here. We all do a bit of everything, from answering phones to checking the quality of the vegetables that come in. It can be a bit chaotic during the morning rush when the delivery guys are all heading out at once. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the Namco Bank across the street is a good landmark for people trying to find us. It’s a busy life but it’s good to be part of the local food supply system for the city.
