Harish Stores

We’ve been running Harish Stores here on Masjid Road for quite a few years now. If you know the area, you probably know the Bank of India right across from us. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always someone coming in or out. We mostly keep the usual things people need for their houses. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop where we try to keep the shelves full. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and things get a bit messy, but that is just how it goes. I spend most of my day behind the counter talking to neighbors who stop by. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It's just a local business trying to stay helpful. Most people find us because of the bank, which is a good landmark I suppose. The traffic on this road can be a bit much in the evenings. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There isn't a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything stays in order. We don't have a website or anything like that, so people just walk in. It’s a simple life running a store in this neighborhood. If you are passing by Masjid Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s been there forever. We just keep doing what we do every day without making a big fuss about it. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but the store stays the same mostly.
