Jai Bhawani Store

I’ve been at Jai Bhawani Store for a while now. We are right on R C Marg, near Mahul Road and the Vashi Nak area. It’s a busy spot with plenty of noise from the street. Most mornings, the first thing I do is sweep out the dust that comes in from the road. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the space we have. We try to keep the stuff people actually need every day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few people come in at once, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and talking to the delivery guys who pull up outside. It’s not fancy work, but it’s what we do. People around here know us because we’ve been in this part of Chembur for a good bit. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure things run okay. The light inside isn't the brightest, but it works for seeing what’s on the racks. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings over a cup while I’m sorting through boxes. It’s a normal local shop life. We don't use computers for everything, mostly just pen and paper for the lists. It feels right that way. If you walk past Vashi Nak, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun, but it’s still there and we are usually open.
