United Martial Arts Academy

We’ve been running United Martial Arts Academy for a while now, right across from the MTNL telephone exchange in Kandivali West. It’s just a regular spot where people come to learn and get some exercise. The mats get a bit sweaty and the room can get loud when the kids arrive, but that is just how it goes here. Most folks find us easily because of the big exchange building across the street. We keep things pretty simple. There aren't any fancy lights or high-tech gadgets, just a floor and some space to move around. Usually, you will see a few parents waiting outside or chatting near the door while the classes happen inside. It gets busy in the evenings, especially when the work day ends and people start dropping by. We try to keep the place tidy, though there is always a stray gear bag or some shoes left by the entrance. If you walk around Kandivali West, you’ll probably see our sign near the main road. It isn't a huge place, but it works for what we do. People come, they train, and then they go home. We don't have a big front desk staff or anything, just whoever is around to help out. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but once you are inside, it is mostly just the sound of people working out. That is pretty much what it's like here every day of the week.
