Turbo Enterprises

Turbo Enterprises is at 15 Bhabha Building on 13th Khetwadi Lane. If you know Grant Road, you know how packed this area gets. Our shop is tucked away and filled with all sorts of parts and items we’ve collected over many years. It is a bit of a squeeze inside. The metal shelves reach all the way up to the ceiling. My father started this whole thing years ago. Now I am the one looking after everything day to day. We don't really have a website or anything like that. People mostly just call us on the phone or walk in because they saw our small sign. The lane outside is quite narrow. Getting deliveries in can be a real headache sometimes. We spend a lot of time checking through old stock and helping people find that one specific thing they need for a project. It is dusty work. My hands are usually dirty by noon. We have an old fan that makes a lot of noise but it helps in the summer heat. We are not trying to be the biggest shop around here. We just want to stay open and keep the regulars coming back. It's a simple life here in the building. We usually close up around seven and head home. There is nothing fancy or special about what we do. It is just about knowing where everything is kept and being there when someone knocks on the door looking for a part.
