Our office is over at Shree Sanman Society on the Juhu Versova Link Road. It’s in Andheri, so there’s always a lot of traffic and noise nearby. We work out of a ground floor unit that we’ve modified a bit over the years to fit all our equipment. We do a lot of import and export work here. Most days involve a lot of checking customs forms and talking to delivery drivers who are looking for the place. The space is a bit cramped because we always have boxes waiting to go out or just coming in. We don’t have a fancy showroom for people to look at. If someone comes by, they usually just stand by the main desk while we look for their paperwork in the files. The overhead lights are a bit bright, but they help when we’re reading small print on labels late at night. There’s a small kitchen area in the back where we make tea and coffee for the staff. We’ve been in this society for several years now, so we know the security guards and the neighbors pretty well. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit of a mess with all the puddles, but we manage to keep things moving. It’s a practical setup for us. We aren't big on decorations. We just focus on getting the crates moved and the invoices signed. It’s just us and a lot of logistics to manage every single day.
