The Xtra- Ordinary Fashions

We are located at A/501 in Kamla Nagar, which is right off M.G. Road in Kandivali West. Being on the fifth floor means we’re a bit removed from the street noise, but you can still hear the trains and the traffic if you listen for it. Our space is more like a workshop or a small office than a typical retail store. We have racks of clothes and fabric samples scattered around everywhere. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. At The Xtra- Ordinary Fashions, it’s mostly just us working away at the sewing machines or cutting fabric on the big tables. We don't have a fancy entrance or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you’ll just find one of us with a tape measure around our neck. The building is a typical residential-commercial mix, so we see our neighbors in the elevator all the time. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people who come here are from the surrounding area or heard about us from someone else in Kandivali. It’s a practical setup where we focus on getting the garments finished. Some days the piles of cloth seem to take over the whole room, but we manage to stay on top of things. It’s just a normal, busy workplace where we do our thing and try to stay productive.
