The Central Trading Company

Being in the Fort area means we are surrounded by old buildings and a lot of history. The Central Trading Company is located in the Wadia Building, specifically at 9-B on Cawasji Patel Street. It’s one of those classic structures with high ceilings and thick walls. You can hear the echoes when you walk down the hall. We have been here for a good while now. The street outside is always full of people rushing to banks or offices. Inside our space, things are a bit more relaxed, though it gets busy during trading hours. We don't have any of that modern glass and chrome stuff. It’s mostly wood desks and old cabinets that have seen better days. Wadia Building has a character of its own. The elevator is old, and sometimes it’s better to just take the stairs. Cawasji Patel Street has some good food spots nearby, which is a plus for us. We aren't a huge team at The Central Trading Company. It’s just a handful of us making sure everything gets handled correctly. We don't put on a show for anyone. If you come by, you’ll just see us working. We value the routine. Every morning starts with opening up the heavy doors and checking the mail. It’s a solid way to spend the day in the heart of Fort. We aren't looking to change much about how we operate. It works for us and the people who know us.
