Thayammal Fashion

We are located at B - 59 in the M.I.D.C. area of Ambad. If you’ve ever walked through Ambad, you know it’s a lot of industrial sheds and heavy trucks moving around. Thayammal Fashion is our little corner of that world. Inside, things are usually moving pretty fast. We have rows of machines and a lot of fabric lying around in different colors. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets. It’s concrete floors and big fans humming to keep the air moving. We’ve been here for a good stretch of time now. Most of the folks working here live nearby, so there’s a lot of local talk during the breaks. We don’t have any big mission statements hanging on the walls. We just know that if a garment isn't stitched right, it’s not going out. It’s a lot of looking at threads and checking sizes. Sometimes we stay late when a big order is due, and we’ll order in some snacks for everyone to keep the energy up. The Ambad industrial area has its own rhythm, and we’re just a part of it. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We’re just a garment unit trying to keep up with the work and making sure our staff is taken care of. It’s practical work, and we take it one day at a time without any grand plans or unnecessary stress.
