Our office is over in Mumbai, specifically at 106, Udhyog Mandir No. 2 on Mogal Lane. It is in the Mahim West area, which is always busy and full of life. Being in an industrial estate means there is always something happening around us. We are Tazur Exports Pvt. Ltd. and we mostly handle export-related work from here. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many boxes and documents lying around, but we know where everything is. The lift in the building is old and sometimes we just take the stairs to save time. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We spend most of our time coordinating with shipping agents and checking the quality of the goods before they leave. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We are not big on corporate meetings or fancy presentations. Usually, we just sit around the main table and figure things out as they come. Our staff lives nearby, so we are a local bunch. We take our tea breaks seriously and often get snacks from the vendor outside the gate. It is a typical Mumbai workplace. Practicality is what matters to us most. We just want to make sure the boxes get to the port on time and the paperwork is correct. It is steady work and we have been doing it this way for years. We just try to get the jobs finished.
