Tanya Fashions

Tanya Fashions is located in the Jyoti Complex on Vaidyamarg, specifically at A-5/101. Being in a complex means there are always people moving around in the hallways and voices echoing. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the office with all the fabric rolls and the sample racks taking up every bit of space. We do a lot of design and cutting here. There’s thread everywhere—on the floor, on our clothes, even in our hair sometimes by the end of the shift. The sewing machines hum all day long. It’s not a silent workspace. We have a few big windows, but they look out onto another building, so we don't get much of a view. The light is mostly artificial, which can be tiring on the eyes after a few hours of looking at intricate patterns. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. The complex is a mix of different businesses, so you hear a bit of everything through the walls. It’s a bit messy, to be honest. There are scraps of cloth and pins tucked away in every corner. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and you're right in the middle of the work. It’s a busy, cramped, and colorful place where we just try to get the orders finished on time. We usually lock up late when the rest of the complex is already dark.
