Tanish Exports

Tanish Exports is run out of a space in Vandana Chs over in Pestom Sagar. Being in Chembur West is convenient for us because it’s easy to get to different parts of the city from here. It’s more of a residential-feeling area than a big industrial park, which we kind of like. It’s a bit quieter, except when the kids are playing outside in the evenings. We spend most of our time coordinating shipments that are going out of the country. There’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone with the ports and the customs people. It can be frustrating when things get delayed, but we’ve learned to deal with it over the years. Our office at number 18 is pretty simple. Just a few desks, some computers, and a lot of files. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights out front. We’re just a small team trying to keep things moving. Sometimes we stay late when a big order is being finalized. We usually order some food and just keep working until it’s done. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s okay. We know our neighbors and they know us. We try not to make too much noise when the trucks come by to pick up samples. It’s a steady rhythm of checking emails and making sure the labels are printed correctly. No big corporate meetings here, just us getting on with things. It's a living and we're used to it.
