We are located in Adie Mansion, which is a fairly old building on the first floor at 334 Maulana Shaukatali Road. This part of the city is always buzzing, and the road outside is never quiet. You can hear the horns and the street vendors from our windows all day long. The building itself has a lot of character, with high ceilings and those old-style windows that don’t always close perfectly. It feels like a piece of history even though we are just here to work. Our office is a bit cluttered with samples and papers, but we know where everything is. There isn’t a lot of extra space, so we have to stay organized. Most of us have been here a long time, so we are used to the quirks of the plumbing and the creaky floors. It’s a very central location, which is helpful, but the parking is almost impossible if you don’t have a spot. We usually go out for tea at the corner shop in the afternoons. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters; it’s a real office in a real part of town where work actually happens. We don’t worry too much about the decor as long as we have what we need to get the job done. It’s a simple, honest way to work in the heart of a very busy neighborhood.
