Syskom Computers

Syskom Computers is over on K K Marg in the Mahalaxmi area, specifically in Vishweshwar Nagar. It is a bit of a working-class neighborhood, and we fit right in. Our shop is full of old monitors, tangled wires, and various computer parts that we’ve collected over time. It’s not the kind of place where everything is neatly tucked away in boxes; it looks like a place where things actually get fixed. We spend our days leaning over motherboards or trying to figure out why a hard drive isn't spinning right. The air usually smells a bit like solder and warm plastic. Mahalaxmi is a great part of Mumbai to be in, even if it gets a bit crowded. There’s always someone coming in with a laptop that they spilled tea on or a desktop that just won’t turn on anymore. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People just find us because we’ve been here on K K Marg for a while and they know we are usually around. We have a couple of stools for customers to sit on while they wait, but most people just leave their stuff and come back later. It’s a simple life, just troubleshooting and keeping the machines running for the folks in the neighborhood. We don’t mind the clutter, it makes it feel like home.
