You’ll find Symbiosis Biotech tucked away in 13, Laxmi Compound, over in Chakala, Andheri (East). Anyone who knows Andheri knows that the compounds around here are always a bit of a squeeze. It’s a busy, crowded area where every bit of space is used for something. Our place isn't some glass-walled laboratory from a movie; it’s a working biotech space in an old compound. We’ve got our equipment set up and we just get on with the testing and the research. The walls might need a bit of paint, and the stairs are a little narrow, but the work we do is solid. It’s a quiet kind of atmosphere inside compared to the chaos outside on the Andheri streets. We have a small team of people who are mostly focused on their monitors and their lab benches. There’s always a faint smell of chemicals or cleaning supplies in the air, which is pretty standard for what we do. We don't really have a big reception desk or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us in our lab coats or handling some deliveries in the doorway. It’s a practical setup for people who are more interested in the science than the scenery. We’ve been in Laxmi Compound for a while now, and despite the traffic in Chakala, it’s a good spot for us to keep our heads down and work. It’s just about the daily tasks for us.
