Our office is in Mohammedali Manzil on Samuel Street, right in the heart of Dongri. It’s an old neighborhood and the building has been here forever. We deal with exports, mainly sending things out from the local markets to whoever needs them abroad. The office is usually a bit chaotic with papers everywhere and the phone ringing constantly. My grandfather started this business a long time ago, and we’ve just stayed in the same spot because everyone knows where we are. Samuel Street is always full of people and carts, so getting things in and out takes some real patience. We don’t use any fancy software to track things; we mostly rely on our notebooks and the guys we’ve worked with for decades. It’s a lot of talking to people and making sure the crates are packed correctly before they ship out. The walls are lined with old files and photos from when the business first started. It’s a bit cramped, and the air conditioning struggles during the summer heat, but it’s home to us. We don’t spend money on advertising or big signs. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships and word of mouth in the trade. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, day after day. It's a steady life here in Dongri. We like the history of the place and the people we see every day.
