Swaliha Chikan Arts

Swaliha Chikan Arts is located in Gala No 9 on the first floor of building 351. We are right on Annipura Main Road, which is part of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road area. It’s directly opposite Mangaldas Market, specifically near the second lane. It is a very busy part of the city, and the streets are always packed with shoppers and vendors. Our workshop and office are up one flight of stairs. It’s where we handle all the chikan work and manage our stock. The space is often filled with fabrics and threads, and it can look a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big order. We have been doing this for quite some time now. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. Instead, people usually find us through word of mouth or by looking for our sign in the busy lane. It’s a lot of manual work and we spend our days making sure the quality of the stitching is what it needs to be. The noise from the market downstairs is something we just live with. We aren’t a big corporate company, just a local business trying to do good work every day. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through heaps of cloth. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we appreciate the people who stop by.
