Surendra Gupta Provision General Stores

Surendra Gupta Provision General Stores is my shop over in Andheri East. We are at Shop Number 13 in the Rambaugh area, specifically in the Mahakali section. It's right in the middle of the motor market. If you know where the Nelco Company is, we are just opposite that. It’s a busy place with a lot of mechanics and drivers around all day. We keep a bit of everything on the shelves. People come in for daily necessities or just a quick snack while they are waiting for their vehicles to get fixed. It gets pretty crowded in the aisles sometimes, but we try to keep things organized enough so you can find what you need. My family helps me run the place. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regulars by their first names. The motor market is a loud place, always the sound of engines and tools, but we are used to it by now. We don't have any fancy decorations or air conditioning. It’s just a regular store for regular people. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the Andheri traffic, but we manage somehow. We stay open late most nights because that’s when the market is still humming. It’s a lot of hours on our feet, but it’s good to be a part of the neighborhood. We just keep the shelves stocked and the door open for whoever walks in today. It keeps us busy.
