Sunita Dresses

You can find us at Sunita Dresses, right in Arun Bazar on Station Road. We’re in shops 3 and 4, which is a busy spot because of all the people coming from the Santacruz (W) station. It’s always noisy with the trains and the crowds, but that’s just how life is on Station Road. We have racks of dresses everywhere, and sometimes it feels like there’s hardly enough room for us to move around. We’ve been selling clothes here for a long time. People come in looking for something specific, and we do our best to find it in the stacks. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, and we don’t really worry about having a fancy storefront. The lights are a bit bright and the mirrors are old, but they do the job. We keep some spare chairs in the back for when our feet get tired. It's a long day standing on the concrete floor, but we are used to the rhythm of the bazar now. During the festival seasons, it gets really packed in here and we all have to work extra hours. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan. People just know we are here in Arun Bazar. We spend our days folding clothes and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a bit messy at times, especially when a lot of customers are trying things on at once, but we manage. It’s a practical little shop and we like being part of the Santacruz market.
