Sun Rocks Minerals Exports

Sun Rocks Minerals Exports is based out of B/207 in Parul Apartments. It’s an older building on V.D. Road in Andheri West, so there is always something happening right outside the main gate. The walk from the station isn't too bad if the weather is nice, but during the monsoon, that stretch of road gets really messy with all the puddles. Our office is on the second floor. The hallway is usually quiet, though you can hear the neighbors occasionally. Inside, it’s a fairly simple layout. We have a few cupboards stacked with files and a couple of old fans that hum a bit when they are on high. It’s not a big corporate space with glass walls; it’s more like a converted residential unit which makes it feel a bit more relaxed. We have a small window that looks out toward the back of the building. It doesn't offer much of a view, just some trees and the neighboring apartments, but it lets in a bit of natural light. Most of our day is spent at the desks, keeping track of things and talking on the phone. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. It’s just a regular office in a busy part of Mumbai where we handle our business day in and day out without much ceremony. The building watchman usually says hello when we arrive, which is a nice way to start the morning.
